Autumn Harvest Riesling 2010
Story The Autumn Harvest Riesling was the first commercially produced wine under the Pertaringa label. We've decided to bring it back, just in time for our 30th anniversary!
Vintage Summer weather arrived early with consecutive days of around 35 degrees in November, but some rain in December helped brighten up the vines. Then fine weather between January and harvest provided perfect conditions for ripening.
Nose Lycee, musk, lime zest and citrus blossom with tree ripened stone fruits.
Palate Delicate sweetness gives a lusciousness to the palate with ripe stone fruits and citrus notes, followed by a refreshing and crisp acid finish.
Pairing Great with lime curd tart, but if you are sick of people telling you that sweet wines only go with dessert why not be a little more daring and try it with pickled octopus on a cucumber, red onion and fetta salad with lemon and oregano infused oil!
